After #164, I've finally gone and tried to update the translations, but I noticed the script's a little different to how it was when I last looked at it, and I seem to be missing documentation for it.

Is this all automated with Travis now? (and is Travis still working?)
Does
make_release.pyalso merge the translations?This PR has the most recent translations from CrowdIn - are these needed as I noticed the merge script goes to the CrowdIn API?
